In Line Safety’s pedigree is construction, evolving from one of the leading roofing companies in the UK, construction safety runs in our blood.
We will provide for you a site-specific service ensuring that your construction project is planned, undertaken and completed to the highest health and safety standards. Our knowledge of the CDM 2015 regulations is renowned as amongst the best in the country, and we will ensure your project fully complies throughout its duration.
A living construction phase plan (CPP) starts with site inspections, initial full risk assessments, method statements and pre-start meetings. Advice is given on minimising risk wherever possible, utilising your tried and tested construction methods and access equipment, we gear the CPP to suit your needs.
Throughout the construction programme site audits are conducted on a random basis and the construction phase plan is updated accordingly. Daily check lists are also updated as work progresses, taking us through to a post-construction safety plan. We ensure that all relevant health and safety aspects – working at heights, hot working, fire safety plans are included. We also make sure all necessary permits are obtained and relevant regulations are met, such as those involving the control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) and the control of asbestos.
The CPP itself can be easily interrogated and amended through our electronic, tablet-based information system. In this way the information can be uploaded into the contractor’s own IT system. This makes it easy to monitor progress and link the data to other aspects of the contractor’s activities, including training systems.
All our work addresses what is required under the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Work at Height Regulations, the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and all other current health and safety legislation.
