Health and Safety Consultant

I joined In-Line Safety Ltd. in October 2014 as a Health and Safety Consultant. My role is varied working for clients across different sectors of industry and providing different services. These include carrying out fire risk assessments, asbestos surveys, management audits, writing and reviewing policies and procedures, writing risk assessments and method statements, conducting construction site inspections and many other functions.

Prior to this opportunity with In-line Safety I spent 12 years working for various housing associations in London and across the South-East. My initial career was in facilities management and over time I became more involved in health and safety. The majority of my time was spent managing fire safety, gas safety, asbestos and water systems.  I achieved the NEBOSH National General Certificate in 2006 and the NEBOSH National Diploma in April 2011.

I realised, eventually, that I wasn’t using my knowledge and skills to their full potential and decided to look for a job outside of social housing. And the rest, as they say, is history. 

I am married with three children and live in a little village in Kent. As a family, other than ensuring my children are at their limitless extra-curricular activities, we enjoy taking long walks in the country or along the south-east coast finishing at a café or a pub for something to eat or a quick drink.
