Health and Safety Consultant, Construction Manager
I joined In Line Safety in 2013, coming from a health and safety background in manufacturing. Since I have been a part of the team here I have gained experience and qualifications in health and safety fields such as fire risk assessment, asbestos surveying and all areas of construction.
My role takes me all over the country carrying out fire risk assessments, asbestos surveys and site inspections across a wide variety of locations including residential properties, retail and leisure premises, schools and government buildings. I specialise in Supermarket refurbishment and act as CHASP (Construction Health and Safety Professional) for 2 of the leading UK supermarkets, primarily dealing with roof replacement or refurbishment programmes.
I am a Technician level (TechIOSH) member of IOSH, the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. I was a committee member of the South East IOSH members branch, acting in the role of Web Champion coordinating their social media and online content, however I have had to recently give up this role due to family commitments.
As a father to 3 children under 5, my spare time is mostly spent trying to control the chaos 3 children generate and clearing up afterwards. When I do get some free time, I enjoy going to concerts, reading, football and going to the cinema.
